Pronouns of Demonstration
In the previous lessons you have learnt four (4) pronouns of demonstration OR demonstrative pronouns, summarised as follows.
لَلْبَعِيْدِ أَسْمَاءُ الإِشَارَةِ

Remember the following rules about them:

{jb_bluedisc}2{/jb_bluedisc} They are all singular
{jb_bluedisc}3{/jb_bluedisc} The Khabar which comes after them must match their gender i.e. if the demonstrative pronoun is masculine then the Khabar must be masculine and vice versa.
Exercise
Using the vocabulary and rules for a simple nominal sentences which you have learnt please make five (5) sentences each using the demonstrative pronouns described in the table.

The function of "And" or the combining of two statements is done by using the letterوَ which is known in Arabic as:

وَمَنْ تِلْكَ؟
تِلْكَ فَاطِمَةُ
هَـٰذِهِ طَبِيبَةٌ وَ تِلْكَ مُمَرِّضَةٌ
هَـٰذِهِ مِنَ الهِنْدِ وَ تِلْكَ مِنَ الْيَابَانِ
هَـٰذِهِ طَوِيلَةٌ وَ تِلْكَ قَصِيرَةٌ
مَنْ هَـٰذَا ؟
هَـٰذَا حَامِدٌ
وَ مَنْ ذَلِكَ ؟
ذَلِكَ عَلِيٌّ
أَتِلْكَ دَجَاجَةٌ؟
لاَ، تِلْكَ بَطَةٌ
مَا تِلْكَ؟
تِلْكَ بَيْضَةٌ
هَـٰذِهِ سَيَّارَةُ المُدَرِّسِ وَ ذَلِكَ سَيَّارَةُ المُدِيرِ
أَ سَاعَةُ عَبَّاسٍ هَـٰذِهِ؟
لَا , هَـٰذِهِ سَيَّارَةُ حَامِدٍ , ذَلِكَ سَيَّارَةُ عَبَّاسٍ
ذَلِكَ دِيكٌ وَ تِلْكَ دَجَاجَةٌ
